Hotel had a carpark
Shower was very poor only one towel each no luxuries here
The carpet needed to be changed totally. The state of it as you entered the room was so bad. It implied you could buy breakfast, when we arrived we were told we couldnt. The bar had a total of about 3 drinks and it didnt open till 8.30 P.M. I booked for the rate but I wouldnt even consider it as good as a b & B.
the staff.excellent.couldnt do nenough to please you.thank you
Reception was meant to be maned 24 hrs but wasn't .we could not gain access to the hotel a couple of times.bar prices to high compared to other hotels in the surrounding area.
The price was the reason we pick the hotel, and when we heading back to salthill we will for sure use it again.. Breakfast was prefect... and we had no complains about our room.. we were in room 101 Have to praise the bar manger at night (tommy) he was a really nice and friendy guy that chatted and made us feel welcome..
No complains about our stay.. every thing was good for us
Hotel was clean and staff were very helpful. Great location, close to town and salthill. Plenty of free parking.
We liked the location of this hotel as we had business in Salthill. The staff were exceptionally friendly and could not do enough for us. It was very clean and had all the necessary facilities. It suited us as it was in a quiet location and security at the hotel was very good. I would recommend this hotel. You are not too far from Galway itself and if you want to escape the hustle and bustle at the end of the day, this hotel is ideal. The hotel do breakfast but do not do evening meals. This was not a problem for us as we like to eat out, although on this occasion we ordered a Chinese meal (from the Chinese close by) to our room and the hotel owners provided us, without being asked, with cutlery and plates. As I say they could not do enough for us.
Location was perfect! staff friendly and helpfull, room was clean and comfortable,Great wifi and plenty of free parking. Good Value!
20 minute walk from eyre square which was great. price was good. Staff were friendly. The quadruple room was good for a family of 4. There were 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. The beds were comfortable.
The hotel was very basic. The reception is small and does not give a good first impression The room had not been cleaned properly on our arrival but was dealt with when brought to managements attention. The room was not of a three star hotel standard as the furniture was basic and the surfaces marked and the bathroom was only ok
The staff were very helpful
The hotel was still being renovated and shouldnt have been open. The shower was terrible
it was quiet and peaceful and not too far from all the attractions
i didnt like the fact that you had to ring a bell and wait each time you wanted to go into the hotel.sometimes you had to wait a couple of minutes before someone arrived to let you in
The Hotel was in a quite location about 2 Km from the Promonade in Salthill. Had sufficient parking at the rear. We booked a quadruple room but received an appartment type setup with two seperate bedrooms and toilet/shower room off a private hallway. This was ideal for us but would have been a problem if our children were younger. There was a mini kitchen (no fridge) in our bedroom which would be usefull if we were staying longer especially with children. The rooms were clean. As we had only a brief overnight stay I can't comment on the facilities or the food offered by the hotel. The food appeared to be well priced.
The hotel seemed to be more of a hostel than a hotel.
Location, walking distance to beach, shops and resturants
Not much really, would not recommend this hotel at all. Although it was clean, they had no bar/food facilities, no hairdryers in the room, no hot water one morning. Very bad service considering we paid 230 euro each.
There is not one thing to like about this hotel apart from its in Galway which is a very nice place.
Showers were cold 75 % of the time, Carpets stained & dirty, bed linen old and worn, Curtains dated, tv about 20 years old with one channel working, Chain on the window so you can only open it a few inches, rooom very warm & stuffy, Front door of hotel is always locked so you have to ring a bell every time you want to go in & out
